We thought we had a good lead on the #10 balloon but one of the geocachers on the ground was unable to confirm it. However, we were able to confirm #1 and are closing down on #5. Great work geocachers!
It's now 4:32 here in Ohio EST, so I'm guessing you/we didn't find them all -- but great job on finding 7!! Are the results posted somewhere? Will we find out the locations? I live in podunk nowhere, so I had no chance of finding one. It must have been great fun to actually spot one!! ladylynnea, OH
Thanks to everyone for participating in the challenge! 6 out of the 8 locations we found were confirmed on-site by geocachers, which beat all of our expectations.
Groundspeak is a 9 year old company that owns and operates Geocaching.com. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online.
